Parisar

Committee kit

Everything you need to put this to a meeting

Choosing society software is not one person's decision — it is a resolution passed by a committee, usually in twenty minutes at the end of a long agenda. These are the documents that make that twenty minutes work. Free, no email required, use them with any vendor.

What Parisar does, what it costs for your number of flats, what happens to resident data, and the four commitments — on one side of A4 you can circulate before the meeting.

Draft committee resolution

Standard wording to adopt a visitor-management system, name the signing authority, and record the data-protection terms in the minutes. Edit the blanks; it is not Parisar-specific.

Notice to residents

The one message that goes on the noticeboard and in the group: what is changing, what residents must do, what the app will not do to them. Calm, four lines, no marketing.

Data deletion request

A letter to your outgoing vendor asking them to erase resident data and confirm in writing, with the statutory basis cited. The step most societies forget when they cancel.

Five questions to ask any vendor

Including us. If a vendor cannot answer these in writing, that is your answer.

  1. 1. How do you make money, other than our subscription?

Ask for it in writing in the contract, not on a website. Our answer: nothing else, and the contract says so.

  2. 2. Can a resident delete their account without our approval?

If the committee has to authorise it, the resident does not own their data. Ours: one tap, immediately.

  3. 3. What can a landlord see about a tenant?

Ask specifically about the visitor log. Ours: dues and documents yes, visitors never.

  4. 4. Does the gate work with the internet down?

Ask them to demonstrate it with the router unplugged. Ours: passes verify on-device, events queue.

  5. 5. What do we get on the day we leave?

A named export format, a date, and written confirmation of deletion. Get it before you sign, not after.
